Membership terms

These terms explain how PiNZ membership works. By joining, you agree to them.

Price

• Membership is a standard annual price, shown on the membership page when you join. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
• If you are unwaged, a student or on a low income, you can choose the unwaged rate, which is half the standard price. We trust you to choose the rate that suits your circumstances.
• Affiliated teachers and designers pay the professional rate, which is double the standard price.

Your membership year

Your membership starts when your payment is confirmed and lasts for one year. If you renew early, the new year starts when your current one ends, so you never lose any time.

Automatic renewal

• Memberships paid by card renew automatically each year at your current rate.
• We email you at least a month before each renewal, with the date and amount.
• You can stop renewing at any time from your membership page. Your membership then continues until the end of the year you have paid for.
• If your rate changes (for example, you become an affiliated teacher, or you choose the unwaged rate), the new rate applies from your next renewal.

Refunds

If you were charged by mistake or have changed your mind, please contact us. If we refund a payment in full, the membership it paid for ends.

Other ways to join

If you cannot pay online, please contact us. PiNZ may also grant membership without payment, for a year or for life.
